4 killed, 10 injured in two mishaps in Andhra Pradesh

Eluru: Four persons died and ten others were injured in two separate mishaps near Eluru in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh today, police said.

Three farm workers died on the spot and four others were injured, when the tractor-trailer, they were travelling turned upside down near Mediniraopalem village this evening, they said.

In another mishap, one motorcyclist died, while six persons were injured, when a lorry hit the two-wheeler before dashing against a road-side tree.

All the injured were rushed to Eluru Government Hospital. Police are investigating.
