Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and other leaders today extended their greetings to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on his 65th birthday.
Mr Modi spoke to Mr Naidu and also wished him on Twitter, official sources said.
Mr Rao telephoned Mr Naidu and wished him a long life, a release from the Telangana Chief Minister's Office said.
Several Andhra Pradesh ministers and other leaders greeted Mr Naidu on the occasion.
The birthday celebrations were organised at TDP headquarters at NTR Trust Bhavan where a medical and blood donation camp was organised.
On the occasion, Naidu offered his tribute to TDP Founder NT Rama Rao.
Expressing gratitude for the love shown on him by the people and TDP activists, Naidu said he dedicated his life for service of the poor and the party workers.
Asserting that his aim is to make Andhra Pradesh drought-free, the CM left for Anantapur district in the perennially drought-hit region, to inspect ongoing irrigation works.
