Telugu Desam Party chief, N Chandrababu Naidu, today demanded the resignation of the Andhra Pradesh Excise Minister, M Venkataramana for allegedly accepting bribes from the liquor mafia.
Addressing a youth convention here, Naidu alleged that several Congress legislators, MPs and ministers had links with liquor syndicates.
The minister's name reportedly figures in a report prepared by the state Anti-Corruption Bureau following an allegation made by a liquor businessman that he paid money to the minister.
