Visakhapatnam:
Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ajit Singh and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy flagged off the first international flight to Dubai from INS Dega airport.
Ajit Singh left for Hyderabad in the same flight en-route to Delhi. The flight to Dubai has a scheduled halt at Hyderabad.
Addressing the media Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy said that State government would take all measures to introducemore international fights from Visakhapatnam in view of its potential.
Stating that Visakhapatnam district is full of natural beauty and fine beaches, he said the government will takeall steps to develop the city as tourist destination.
