Government officials injured in honey bees attack in Andhra Pradesh

Rajahmundry: A team from Andhra Pradesh Irrigation department came under attack from honey bees at Yelaru village near Rajahmundry in East Godavari district, sources said.

An irrigation team was inspecting the on-going work at the Yelaru project when suddenly thousands of bees attacked them, they said.

The team members P Manikayam, Gangireddy Raju, KVLK Murthy and gate operatar G Annayya were among others who were injured in the incident. They were shifted to Yelaru government hospital.
