Hyderabad:
A Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) tax inspector was trapped by the ACB forallegedly accepting bribe of Rs 3500 in lieu of official favour.
K Narasimha Chary, posted as tax inspector for Circle-II at Uppal, was caught red-handed by ACB sleuthsat his office last evening when he demanded and accepted Rs 3,500 as illegal gratification from a complainant for doing anofficial favour of getting issued a rectified demand notice of property tax, according to a ACB release.
The case is under investigation.
