Hyderabad: A Sub-Inspector attached to Asif Nagar police station here was today suspended for allegedly
maintaining an illicit relationship with a woman while the SHO has been transferred, sources said today.
SI Mohammed Ishaq allegedly has been in relationship with a woman and last night had again visited her at Jirra locality even as locals objected, they said.
Tension prevailed in the area after residents argued and later "quarreled" with the officer over the matter, sources said.
Khan today placed him under suspension.
The top cop also ordered transfer of the Station House Officer (SHO), identified as Javed, for alleged dereliction of duty, sources said.
