Hyderabad: Two councillors of Andhra Pradesh's ruling TDP punched each other and tore at their clothes at a civic body meeting on Monday. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is reportedly considering disciplinary action against them after the footage went viral on social media.
The fight was over whose name would be listed first in the minutes of the meeting that was held at the Tenali district.
Gummadi Ramesh and Pasupuleti Trimurthulu have been political rivals for a long time.
Footage that has deeply embarrassed the TDP or Telugu Desam Party shows the two beating each other as if they are in a street brawl.
