"We are so grateful for the extraordinary hospitality."
"What Dr Martin Luther King Jr said then remains true today - "the spirit of Gandhi is very much alive in India Today. And it remains a great gift to the world. May we always live in his spirit of love and peace- among all people & nations," President Obama wrote in the visitors' book at Rajghat.
"President Obama is honored to be back in #India to celebrate Republic Day and to begin a new chapter in the US-India partnership. Jai Hind!" tweeted White House soon after the US President landed in Delhi.
