There is no wave in favour of Narendra Modi in the country, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today said after voting in Assam in the sixth phase of the national election. (

"I don't think the country as a whole is struck by any Modi wave. It is a creation of the media," Dr Singh said in Dispur, where he is registered as a voter.
The Prime Minister has more than once criticized Narendra Modi, the man the BJP hopes will succeed him in the top post.
