Delhi Police constable Subhash Tomar, who had suffered serious injuries when a protest against the gang-rape of a young medical student turned violent at India Gate on Sunday, died at a hospital in the capital today.
Here are the highlights of Delhi Police's press conference on Mr Tomar:- Will appoint one member of the constable's family in police force.

The Delhi Police commissioner also spoke on the magistrate's allegation that senior Delhi police officers tried to interfere with the crucial process of recording the statement of the 23-year-old medical student.
