A WikiLeaks cable on Rahul Gandhi has provoked a fiery political conspiracy. The cable states that Gandhi told the US Ambassador to India that Hindu extremism is a bigger threat to India than the Lashkar-e-Toiba.
The BJP has reacted with anger, accusing Gandhi of weakening India's war against terror with his remarks.
"He has little understanding of India. He gave leverage to Pak propaganda against India by saying that Hindu extremism is a bigger threat," said BJP's Ravi Shankar Prasad.

"We strongly condemn Rahul Gandhi's comments. PM should clarify his remarks," he added.
Earlier, BJP spokesperson Tarun Vijay had said that Rahul and the Congress party were trying to harvest Muslim votes by harping on Hindu extremism.
"Rahul's assumptions are preposterous. The Congress party is promoting Hindu-Muslim divide," he said.
