Did you know that Kamaal R Khan, the king of all things OTT, reviews films on his YouTube channel? Did you know that his reviews are so droll that it's shocking that they exist? No? You thought his tweets were only things worth choking over? Get with the times already, you guys.
The man who gave us the unforgettable (and mentally scarring) Deshdrohi, has been playing to the gallery, or rather, his sizable fan base (don't snort, he has 518k followers on Twitter) with film reviews, movie predictions and more. He has more wisdom to share than one can handle at one go, so do not overdo it. Take it one video at a time, just as we are.
KRK begins this review with a rant on how Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania is equal to those 'feels one feels' when one sees a deeply sad man '(ess)smiling.'
Ummmm... What did you just say dude?
Moving on, then. Hopefully there are at least some of you who were shocked by Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania, whose first half is about a woman's desperate need to wear designer lehenga for her wedding. But KRK loved the film.
He seems fascinated that clever directors like Humpty's Shashank Khaitan exist, and that they 'copy' (his words, not ours) so cleverly that the general cleverness becomes quite overwhelming. Basically, we think what he's trying to say that this is the 'cleverest copy' of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge you could ever find. #Okaythen. Moment of silence for the cult DDLJ, and the insult it has had to endure by this awful comparison.
Ummm. NO.
You may be exhausted by this description already but KRK is not. Watch, and get mind blown as he tells us in great detail just what he loves about this 'flawless' film:
