Tapas Pal Does Not Deserve to Sit in Parliament: CPM on Trinamool MP's Rape Remark

On hazy footage aired by local TV channels, Mr Pal, a two-term MP, is clearly heard saying, "I will ask our boys to go and rape CPM women if necessary."

Kolkata: Trinamool party MP and popular Bengali actor Tapas Pal, who has been caught on camera purportedly threatening to send "our boys to rape CPM women if necessary," does not deserve to sit in Parliament, CPM leader Brinda Karat said today. On hazy footage aired by local TV channels yesterday, Mr Pal is clearly heard assuring party workers that members of other parties will not be allowed to harm them.
