New Delhi: An FIR is yet to be filed in the case but the matter is being investigated, they said.
Days ahead of the Delhi Assembly Elections, the vehicle of an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate was allegedly damaged last night by unidentified persons who attacked it when she was on her way home, police said.
According to police, the vehicle in which AAP's candidate for the Rohtas Nagar constituency, Sarita Singh, was travelling was allegedly attacked by a group of people in north-east Delhi.
The attackers struck at her car with iron rods and wooden clubs, police said, adding that Ms Sarita was safe.
