Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and his NCP counterpart Sharad Pawar helda closed-door meeting at a Mumbai hotel on Sundayevening, shortly after the two, joined by Sena leaders Aaditya Thackeray and Sanjay Raut, addressed NCP MLAs. Sources said Uddhav Thackeray, whose dreams of becoming Chief Minister of Maharashtra have disappeared, at least for now, after the chaotic events of Saturday, reassured the MLAs that the Sena-NCP alliance would win through and that it would eventually form the government in Maharashtra.
