Assembly elections: Counting begins in Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura

Election results: Three north-eastern states will get new governments today. A 47-year-old Congressman is struggling to retain power in Meghalaya, while two veterans attempt to get another shot at forming government in Nagaland and Tripura. Counting of votes began at 8 am in all the three states.
