Vigilance sleuths conducteda search at the property of former DMK Minister K P P Samyover charges that he had accumulated assets disproportionateto his known sources of income.
The house of the former fisheries minister at KVK Kuppamat Tiruvotriyur here was raided over charges of havingaccumulated movable and immovable assets in his name and inthe name of his family members disproportionate to his knownsources of income during May 2006 to March 2010, a policerelease here said.
Based on the outcome of a 'discreet enquiry,' a case hadbeen registered under Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988against him, it said.
