Imphal: One person has died and another is critical after blast at the residence of Manipur Speaker and Congress leader I Hemochandra this evening.
The Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was thrown at the Speaker's residence. He was, however, not home that time. Mr Hemochandra was in his constituency Shingjamei.
The police have recovered another IED from the place are trying to defuse it. They have cordoned off the area.
