AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and party leader Manish Sisodia release party manifesto for Delhi elections.
New Delhi:

Aam Aadmi party chief Arvind Kejriwal released his party's manifesto for Delhi assembly elections today. Delhi will go to polls on February 7. Counting of votes will be held on February 10.

Here are the highlights:

  • We have already released parts of the manifesto in Delhi Dialogue
  • We have announced a lot of action plan
  • Our manifesto is a Holy document
  • This is going to guide our actions in the government
  • Last time what we had promised, we had successfully done in 49 days
  • The other parties do not pay a lot of heed to a manifesto
  • It is just a piece of document for them
  • BJP this time is not even release a manifesto
  • Corruption, inflation, full statehood for Delhi these were their promises
  • The entire country should be proud of Delhi as a capital
  • The world should marvel at Delhi
  • This manifesto talks about the common man's budget, woman's safety, the old in the society, education for our children, the youth of the city- employment, free wi-fi, traders
  • AAP along with Delhi would work towards the development of the nearby villages
  • The farmers facing a lot of problem, we will work towards solutions
  • We will create such a Delhi that will be inclusive of all religions and sections
  • Delhi as a trade and tourism hub, service sector
  • Governance: We will stop the tradition of bribery in Delhi
  • Jan Lokpal Bill: Public participation will be ensured
  • We coordinate with the Centre to give Delhi the status of a full statehood
  • We have come up with comprehensive plan for women safety: 10 - 12 lakh CCTV cameras in the city will be installed
