AIADMK, Left differ over seats

AIADMK, Left differ over seats
Chennai: After much drama between Congress and DMK over seat sharing for the upcoming Tamil Nadu polls, and the ongoing tussle between Congress and Trinamool in West Bengal over the seats, now comes the fight between AIADMK and Left, yet again over seats.

The AIADMK and the Left are on a collision course over nominating candidates in seats sought by them.

The Left parties have called an urgent meeting today to take stock of the situation.

Both CPI-M and CPI were taken aback when they saw the AIADMK list, which included several of their sitting seats.

The Left parties have told Jayalalithaa to withdraw from six constituencies.

Another ally the MDMK is virtually out after the number of seats offered to it.

MDMK chief Vaiko was reluctant to accept anything less than 21 seats, Jaya had offered him only eight seats.
