Assembly polls in three states on October 13

New Delhi:

Elections in Maharashtra, Arunachal Pradesh and Haryana will be held on Tuesday, October 13. Counting will be held on the October 22.

The election commission has announced that the model code of conduct is now in effect in all three states.

The last date of nomination is September 25, and last date of withdrawal of applications is Sept 29.

These are the first major assembly elections after the general elections earlier this year. Price rise, drought and inflation are likely to be important issues.
