Raipur: Nine candidates today filed nominations for the first phase of Chhattisgarh Assembly polls taking the total number of candidates having done so to 21.

Two Congress leaders - Daleshwar Sahu and Mohan Markam - today filed their nominations from Dongargaon and Kondagaon seats respectively, Chief Electoral Officer Sunil Kujur told reporters in Raipur.
