Puducherry:
The CPI(ML) on Friday said it would contest three seats in the union territory (two in Puducherry and one in Karaikal) in the April 13 assembly elections.
The party would field candidates in Muthialpet and Embalom (reserved) constituencies in Puducherry and in Karaikal (north) segment, a press release from party's secretary (in charge) P Sankaran said on Friday.
He said a decision in this regard was taken at CPI(ML) meeting on March 13.
While S Mothilal and R Sakthivel would contest from Muthialpet and Embalom, a woman nominee Sivaradha would be fielded in Karaikal (north), he said.
