Gadkari's chopper scrapes tent set up for his UP rally

Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh: It's proving to be a tough week for BJP President Nitin Gadkari. And we're only on Wednesday. Mr Gadkari's helicopter while landing today ripped a tent and damaged the platform set up for his rally in Bhadohi in Uttar Pradesh.

Yesterday, a stage that Mr Gadkari was seated on with his colleagues collapsed in Ghazipur in eastern UP.  Nobody was hurt.

Till a TV channel in Karnataka began running footage of three BJP ministers watching what appeared to be porn on a cellphone in the Assembly in Bangalore.  The ministers resigned this morning.  They have been banned from attending the Assembly till a committee investigates the incident.  One member of the trio said he expects to be found innocent.
