Madhya Pradesh: Shivraj Singh Chouhan to explore 3-D technology to take on Congress

Mr Chouhan is hoping for a hat-trick in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: Seeking to score a hat-trick in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will harness technology to engage people in the poll-bound state.

"The chief minister will address 20 meeting across the state simultaneously using the latest 3-D technology," BJP general secretary in-charge of Madhya Pradesh Anant Kumar told reporters.

He said Mr Chouhan would be addressing the meetings in the coming days ahead of the November 25 elections.

Meanwhile, Mr Kumar reiterated BJP's demand that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee be given the country's highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna for his contribution to the nation.

"It is high time for the Centre to bestow Bharat Ratna to Vajpayee as demanded by Union ministers Farooq Abdullah and Pallam Raju among scores of other countrymen," he said.

Mr Kumar said the Centre should rise above "narrow political interests" to bestow the award to Vajpayee.

On BJP's poll campaign in Madhya Pradesh, he said top leaders, including the party president Rajnath Singh, LK Advani, BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Sushma Swaraj among others, would be addressing nearly 200 election meetings ahead of elections.
