Narendra Modi lacks knowledge about the nation: Digvijaya Singh
Guna, Madhya Pradesh: Taking a dig at Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leader Digvijay Singh today said that the BJP's prime ministerial candidate lacks knowledge about the history and culture of the country.

"I think Sushma Swaraj and Murli Manohar Joshi should give tuitions to Modi for a month to improve his knowledge," he said addressing an election meetings in Chachoda constituency of Madhya Pradesh.

"I urge the BJP President, Rajnath Singh to be beware of Modi," Mr Singh added.

Mr Singh also slammed Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, challenging him to an open debate on who has done more work for the state as chief minister. Mr Singh was the chief minister of the state from 1998 to 2003 before the Congress government was voted out.

"So far, Chouhan has shied away away from the debate although he should not do so if he has done good work for Madhya Pradesh," he said.

While addressing a meeting at Raghogarh, the Congress general secretary said he would not campaign for his son, Jaivardhan, in the next elections if he did not listen to the people.
