Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is set for a third successive win from Maninagar constituency, where he was leading his Congress rival Shweta Bhatt by a big margin.
At the end of first round of counting, Mr Modi is way ahead of his Congress rival Shweta Bhatt. Mr Modi has got 8780 votes, while Mrs Bhatt has got 1015 votes, state election office sources said.
State Congress chief Arjun Modhwadia is trailing his BJP rival in Porbandar, while Gordhan Zadafia, general secretary of Gujarat Parivartan Party is also behind his BJP rival in Gondal.
