
Polling in Rajasthan is on December 1
New Delhi:
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress president Sonia Gandhi and party Vice President Rahul Gandhi will address eight election meetings in Rajasthan, where Congress is hoping to retain power, in the next fortnight.
While Rahul Gandhi will be addressing public meetings on November 19 at Chittorgarh and Bikaner, the Prime Minister will be in Jaipur on November 21.
On November 23, Sonia Gandhi will be addressing meetings at Dungarpur and Kota, Rahul Gandhi in Jodhpur and Ajmer on November 25.
The Congress President will be visiting Sikar on November 27.
Recently, AICC General Secretary C P Joshi, a known detractor of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, was made the Chairman of the state's Election Campaign Committee by the party.
The jumbo 66-member body also has as many as seven co-chairmen including Union ministers Girija Vyas, Sachin Pilot, Jitender Singh and Lalchand Kataria.
