Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will address a meeting of Congress workers ahead of the phase I polls in Chhattisgarh on November 11, party leaders said on Saturday.
According to these leaders, the prime minister will address around 4,000 Congress workers at the Balbir Juneja indoor stadium in Raipur.
Manmohan Singh's meeting comes after Congress chief Sonia Gandhi addressed a rally at Kondagaon district in the Bastar region on November 7 followed by two rallies addressed by party vice president Rahul Gandhi in Rajnandgaon area and in Kanker on November 8.
Chhattisgarh will vote for the 90-member house on November 11 and 19. The results will be out on December 8.
