Kottayam:
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will address election meetings here and in Kollam on Saturday.
The Prime Minister will arrive in Kochi by a special aircraft and then reach Kottayam by a helicopter around 11.30 am to address a public meeting at the Nehru Stadium, District Congress Committee sources said.
Singh was originally scheduled to address the meeting at the M T Seminary School grounds but the Election Commission (EC) refused permission for it citing its guidelines that no political campaign was permitted in educational institutions.
He will leave here around 12.40 pm for the meeting in Kollam.
