Jaipur: Rajasthan Urban Development and Housing Minister Shanti Dhariwal (Congress) was among 23 candidates who filed their papers on the second day of nomination today for the December 1 Assembly polls.
Mr Dhariwal supported by hundreds of party workers filed his papers from the Kota-North Assembly seat at the Kota district returning office, an advisor (PR) of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) said.
Five CPI(M) candidates, two BSP, one CPI and 14 others filed their papers, he said.
The last date of filing nomination papers is November 12, scrutiny of papers will be held on November 13, and the last date of withdrawal of nomination papers is November 16.
