Thiruvananthapuram:
The elections can lead to nasty, nasty words as politicians work overtime to strike each other down. (Watch: Worst war of words in these elections)
Today, BJP leader Sushma Swaraj drove home a mistake made by Congress President Sonia Gandhi. While campaigning in Kerala, Mrs Gandhi referred to the alliance that her party belongs to as the LDF instead of the UDF.
Ms Swaraj rose to the occasion to score some quick points. "The Congress President in Kerala sought the vote of LDF and not once, but twice...some people say that even three times...and even after knowing her mistake, she did not correct herself...that means while speaking she does not apply her mind at all. It was a demonstration of complete non-application of mind," she stressed.
