Fatehgarh Sahib: Two Congress rebels on Monday filed their nomination papers from Fatehgarh Sahib constituency for the January 30 Punjab Assembly polls.
Former minister Harbans Lal and former Fatehgarh Sahib District Congress Committee chief Lakhbir Singh Rai today filed nomination papers as Independent candidates.
Lal and Rai have raised banner of revolt against the Congress leadership for allotting ticket to Kuljit Singh Nagra, President, Kissan Khet Mazdoor Congress, Punjab.
Pardeep Malhotra, former Punjab Pardesh Congress Committee (PPCC) secretary had also announced his decision to contest as an Independent from Fatehgarh Sahib Constituency.
