Rae Bareli:
Priyanka Gandhi has begun her three-day tour of the Gandhi bastions of Amethi and Rae Bareli today ahead of the UP Assembly elections. The Congress has six of the 10 assembly seats in Amethi and Rae Bareli parliamentary constituencies.
She is expected to hold closed door meetings with Congress workers from 10 Assembly constituencies. All seats will go to polls in the fourth and fifth phases.
After spending a day in Amethi, she will hold similar meetings in Rae Bareli for two days and return to Delhi on the January 18.
Meanwhile, her brother and Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi will tomorrow embark on the last leg of his contact programme in Uttar Pradesh in the Bundelkhand region.
