Gold, silver at Kerala's Padmanabhaswamy temple not reported, Supreme Court told
Huge amounts of gold and silver donated by devotees at the famous temple Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple in Kerala have not been reported by the trustees, a report to the Supreme Court says. Describing this and other parts of the report as "disturbing", the Supreme Court has said it will intervene soon with an order on "an extremely serious matter."

A sadhu's dream of buried gold now reaches the Supreme Court
The government today starts digging for treasure in a village in Uttar Pradesh. The excavation is triggered by a local sadhu or sage who says he dreamt that 1,000 tonnes of gold are buried under the ruins of a palace.
