Ducati, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer, has launched the 2025 Panigale V4 in the Indian market. The performance-oriented bike has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 29.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This comes along with the Panigale V4S, which has been introduced at a starting price of Rs 36.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It is to be noted that both the bikes made their global debut back in 2024 with some significant changes in their design, ergonomics, mechanics, and feature list.

Before we start with the details, it is worth mentioning that the Ducati Panigale V4 is one of the highly regarded performance-oriented machines in the world. With this version, the bike has entered its fourth generation. Probably because of all the upgrades and the history associated with the bike, the first batch of the motorcycle has already been sold out in India. It will continue to be sold in the country as CBU from Thailand.

Beginning with its design, the updated Ducati Panigale V4 showcases several aesthetic and functional changes. For example, the litre-class machine now features a redesigned headlamp cluster, giving it an even more aggressive appearance than before. Furthermore, the winglets are integrated into the fairing with a body-coloured finish, unlike the previous model. The manufacturer has also removed the gills that were present on the earlier version's fairings.

Amidst these changes, the brand has stirred some debate by replacing the single-sided swingarm with a double-sided Aluminium unit which offers better stiffness and torsional rigidity. There have also been modifications in the ergonomics to enhance rider comfort. The seat is now 50 mm wider and 35 mm longer to offer better comfort and more room for the rider to move around while changing directions.

The Italian brand has focused on improving the motorcycle's technology to boost handling. Specifically, the bike includes features like traction control, slide control, wheelie control, selectable ride modes, and four power modes: Full, High, Medium, and Low. Additionally, it features a newly updated 6.9-inch TFT display that offers better visibility in bright lighting conditions.

The Ducati Panigale V4 is powered by a 1,103 cc Stradale four-cylinder engine. This engine has been tuned to produce 216 hp and 120 Nm of torque at its maximum output. Moreover, the company has introduced a revamped cooling system that consists of oil and water radiators. Power is transferred to the rear wheel through a six-speed gearbox equipped with a quick-shifter.
