KTM has recently unveiled its all-new 390 Adventure and the 390 Adventure X. Ahead of the launch in India, the Austrian brand has started taking bookings a few days ago for the off-road capable bike. Revealing the details of the bike, the brand has listed both the machines on the official Indian website. Before we dive into the details, it is to be noted that the manufacturer is also going to launch the 2025 iteration of the 250 Adventure.
KTM 390 Adventure X, 390 Adventure: Engine
The KTM 390 Adventure X and the 390 Adventure have the same 373cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, connected to a 6-speed gearbox, which can churn out a peak power and torque output of 42.31 HP and 37 Nm, respectively. Both bikes offer an ARAI mileage of 32.7 kmpl.

KTM revealed the 390 Adventure at India Bike Week 2024. The designs of the two bikes are quite identical, but small changes in the elements draws the difference in the overall appeal. KTM earlier claimed that the 390 Adventure X and the 390 Adventure seek design inspiration from the Dakar rally motorcycles.

The bikes feature a new set of dual-projector headlamps. KTM has also given a more aggressive styling to the 390 series bikes with a beak-style mud guard at the front. The KTM 390 Adventure X has 19-inch front and 17-inch alloy wheels. Whereas, the KTM 390 Adventure gets a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel.

KTM 390 Adventure X, 390 Adventure: Features
The newly updated KTM 390 series bikes get a 5-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity. The KTM 390 Adventure has features like- three riding modes- street, rain and off-road, the off-road mode will offer ABS for better braking. Apart from that it, the bike also has cornering ABS, cornering traction control, and cruise control. But, the 390 Adventure X will miss out on features like cornering ABS, cornering traction control, and cruise control, but it will have the off-road ABS function.
KTM 390 Adventure X, 390 Adventure: Price
Since KTM has updated the 390 Adventure series, the prices of the new models are going to shoot up. The KTM 390 Adventure is available at a starting price of Rs 3.41 lakh (ex-showroom).
