Maruti Suzuki has updated the Celerio with 6 airbags, in order to elevate its safety quotient. The 6 airbags will be offering as a standard safety feature across the range. The hatchback earlier had just 2 airbags at the front, but now Maruti Suzuki has made the Celerio one of the most-frugal yet safer options in the entry-level hatchback segment with this addition. However, these safety upgrades come at increased prices. The company has now incremented the prices of the Celerio by Rs 16,000-Rs 32,500.
2025 Maruti Suzuki Celerio: Engine And Powertrain
The Maruti Suzuki Celerio has a K-series, 1.0-liter, three-cylinder engine, and it is available in both petrol and CNG options. The powerplant petrol engine is available with two gearbox choices - a 5-speed manual and the 5-speed AMT gearbox option. The peak power and torque output of the motor in its petrol guise stand at 65 Hp and 89 Nm, respectively.
In the 1.0-liter CNG mode, this engine delivers a peak power of 55.23 Hp and a max torque of 82.1 Nm. However, Maruti Suzuki offers only the 5-speed manual gearbox for the Celerio's CNG variants.
The 2025 Maruti Suzuki Celerio has gained 10 kg of weight due to the addition of these safety features.

2025 Maruti Suzuki Celerio: Price
The price of the Celerio LXi has increased by Rs 27,500 and is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 5.64 lakh. The ZXi Plus AMT costs Rs 7.37 lakh, after the increase of Rs 32,500. The VXi petrol MT and AMT cost Rs 5,99,500 (ex-showroom)and Rs 6,49,500 (ex-showroom) respectively. The 2025 Celerio VXi CNG is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 6,89,500. The 2025 Maruti Suzuki Celerio ZXi MT and AMT are available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 6.39 lakh and Rs 6,61,500.
