MG has taken over the electric vehicle market in China and is now heading towards a global influence with the MG 4 EV. MG launched the first-gen MG 4 way back in 2022 and now after two years, it has been updated. The 2025 MG 4 EV has got a few changes in dimensions and the overall design statement. 2025 MG 4 EV: Battery And Powertrain
The exact battery and powertrain specs of the all-new MG 4 EV have not been officially announced yet. However, it gets a lithium iron phosphate battery that supplies power to the 163 HP motor, giving it a top speed of around 160 kmph.

As per the model showcased in China, the all- new MG 4 EV measures 4395 mm in length, it is 1842 mm wide, and stands tall at a height of 1551 mm. These measurements also suggest that the new MG 4 is bigger than its predecessors.
MG has also brought a few changes in the overall design of the 2025 MG 4 EV. It has now got a rounded appeal with curvy bodywork. The front part of the MG 4 EV gets LED projector headlights, a honeycomb-patterned grille, a taper bonnet, a closed-off upper grill, and C-shaped elements in the front bumper. It also has 17-inch alloy wheels, ORVMs on the door, a blacked roof with a sporty roof spoiler, blacked-out pillars, arrow-shaped LED tail lights, and more. It features conventional door handles instead of flush door handles, quite popular in the current lineup of cars.

The 2025 MG 4 EV rivals the likes of the Hyundai Creta EV in the Indian market. It also has rivals like the Volkswagen ID.3, BYD Dolphin, Hyundai Kona Electric and others in the global market.
