Mahindra recently initiated the deliveries of its born electric vehicles, the XEV 9e and the BE 6, in the Indian market. Since then, multiple celebrities have taken the delivery of their new electric SUV. Among them is Anurag Kashyap, who previously received his new EV. Now, famed Bollywood actor Jaaved Jaaferi has taken delivery of his brand-new XEV 9e. The update was shared on social media with a video of the actor talking about the EV.
Based on the video shared on social media, the actor has chosen the Desert Myst colour of the EV. Besides this shade, it is also available in Stealth Black, Everest White, Deep Forest, Tango Red, Nebula Blue, and Ruby Velvet. These colours complement the modern design language of the brand used for these EVs. It consists of a unique front fascia and a sloping roof line. All of this sits well with the 19-inch alloy wheels.

Jaaved Jaaferi's SUV comes packed with features such as an air purification system, a sunroof that blocks UV rays, a Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, a heads-up display (HUD) with augmented reality on the windshield, 5G connectivity, smart vehicle functionalities, integrated Amazon Alexa, a cooled center console, rear seats that fold in a 60:40 configuration, and a telescopic and tilt-adjustable steering wheel, among other things.
To ensure occupant safety, the manufacturer includes Level 2 plus Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), Secure360 (a feature that allows remote vehicle monitoring via a smartphone), and additional safety features. These features include six airbags, an electronic parking brake, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and a system designed to detect driver fatigue.
Jaaved Jaaferi's Mahindra XEV 9e is powered by a 79 kWh battery pack that offers an ARAI-certified range of 659 km. The real-world range of the EV exceeds 500 km. This battery drives an electric motor that produces 286 hp and 380 Nm of peak torque, allowing the SUV to reach 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. Alternatively, there is a 59 kWh battery variant that supports a 231 hp motor, which can be charged using a 140 kW DC charger.
