The difference in both the machines can be seen in the form of the full fairing on the RS and the semi-fairing on the Tuono. Based on aluminium frame, the bikes are powered by same 124.2 cc engine which has been updated to be Euro 5+ compliant. This is a single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which works with a six-speed transmission. It gets a quickshifter as an optional add-on. This unit puts out 14.7 bhp of power at 10,000 rpm and 11.2 Nm of peak torque while revving at 8,000 rpm.
