Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: Yamaha Lander 250 Motorcycle Showcased

Yamaha India has showcased the entry-level dual-purpose motorcycle at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. It is to be noted that this is one of the major bikes of the brand sold in the Brazilian market. Presently, it has been showcased at the event alongside multiple other motorcycles of the brand like MT09, RD 350, N Max, and others.

The Yamaha Lander 250 comes with a unique design resembling its off-road capabilities. It gets a projector LED headlamp with a high beak. The raised handlebar of the bike along with a sharp shape of the fuel tank and positioning of the foot pegs have been designed to offer a relaxed ride. All of this is complemented by a single-piece seat. Furthermore, it comes with wire-spoke wheels that represent it's off-road capable roots. The design is complemented by paint scheme options like Matte Green, Solid Red, Matte Grey, and Metallic Red.

At heart, the Yamaha Lander 250 comes with a 249 cc single-cylinder engine which has been used on the FZ25, one of the major entry-level models of the brand in the Indian market. The power unit comes paired with a five-speed gearbox and is tuned to produce 20.5 bhp of power and 20.6 Nm of peak torque.

Based on a double-cradle frame, the bike is suspended on telescopic front forks with 220 mm travel. The rear end of the bike comes with a monoshock offering 204 mm travel. Braking is the responsibility of single-disc brakes present at both the ends. For added safety, it also gets ABS. The brand also offers an LCD screen on the bike which enables smartphone connectivity.
