Hero Xpulse 421 Likely To Launch In Early 2026: Report
Hero Xpulse 421 Design Patent
Hero MotoCorp started the year 2025 with the launch of multiple products covering various segments for motorcycles and scooters. The brand seems to be planning on carrying this ballistic start into the next year with the launch of the Xpulse 421. If reports are to be trusted, the bike will be launched in early 2026. It is to be noted that the bike was first teased by the brand back in 2024 at the EICMA Show in Italy.

Until now, the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer has only revealed silhouette pictures, giving hints at the design of the bike. Additionally, the pictures of the design patent also leaked online, revealing the design details. Based on the pictures, we can expect the bike to have a design following the pattern of an adventure tourer. It will likely come with a polygonal headlamp complemented by a big windscreen. It will have a rather muscular design for the tank, with tank shrouds on either side connected with the headlamp unit. It is also likely to offer a relaxed seating position with a single-piece seat. To further complement its off-roading capabilities, it will have an upswept exhaust.

To complement the design, the Hero Xpulse 421 will get sufficient hardware. On the front end, the bike will have upside-down forks and a mono shock absorber at the rear. It is likely to come with a preload adjustment to give the rider an option to fine-tune it depending on need. Furthermore, it is expected to get disc brakes on both ends. Based on the pictures, these brakes will be mounted on wire-spoked wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires.

All of this will be supported by a new platform designed by the brand. Under the skin, it will likely have a trellis frame housing a new single-cylinder 421 cc liquid-cooled engine. The specifics of the unit have not been revealed yet. However, it is expected to have a power output in the range of 30 hp to 40 hp, with more focus on torque.

Once launched, the Hero Xpulse 421 will be the biggest member of the Xpulse family. It will be pitted against models like the KTM 390 Adventure and the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 in the Indian markets.
