Honda is entering a new era with the unveiling of two new prototypes at CES 2025. The Japanese automaker has unveiled the Honda 0 Saloon and SUV prototype bringing them a step closer to production versions. It is to be noted that the new 0 Series saloon has striking similarities with last year's concept vehicle, while the SUV prototype shares its exterior design with the 2024 Space Hub concept with a crossover-style body.
The Japanese automaker also announced that the production version of the EV derived from these prototypes will go on sale in North America in 2026. The 0 SUV will be the first of the two to traverse the roads of the US in the first half of 2026. The vehicle will be produced at the Honda EV Hub in Ohio. The Saloon will follow the SUV in the later half of 2026 and will be produced in the same facility.

The face of the Honda 0 SUV has a black panel complemented by pixelated headlights and an illuminated Honda logo. Highlighting the characteristics of the SUV is a chunky bumper that houses a vent for cooling the battery. It gets a raked windshield and a black roof giving the SUV a two-tone look. The brand has given the SUV thick D-pillars while the rear windshield is very thin. It also gets U-shaped tail lights wrapped around the rear end.
Meanwhile, the Honda 0 Saloon gets a design reminiscent of the 2024 CES concept. The car comes with futuristic looks with a cab-forward design and a low-slung wedge shape. It gets larger headlights when compared to the concept version with a retracting cover. The screen at the front end has been replaced by a black panel. The D-pillars are still blocky as ever while the rear end gets the same design for the tail lights.
The cabins of the cars are very similar with a dashboard covered in screens. The brand is offering a digital instrument cluster, a central screen, a screen for front passengers, and two peripheral screens. All of these are complemented by a yoke-style steering wheel.
The powertrain of the electric cars is likely to come with rear and all-wheel-drive systems with 241 hp electric motors which is expected to offer a range of 483 km. These cars will come with Level 3 autonomous driving which allows the driver to watch movies or join a call while driving duties. It will have the brand's next-generation vehicle operating system dubbed ASIMO OS.
