Hyundai Creta has aced the sales and has bagged the position of the best-selling car in March

The sales chart of the top-selling vehicles for March is finally out and the Hyundai Creta has made a strong comeback beating the Maruti Suzuki Swift, and the Tata Punch to a comparatively lower spot. Also, Creta alone comprises 11.05 percent of total cars in the 10 best-selling chart. Check out the details below.

Hyundai Creta has aced the sales and has bagged the position of the best-selling car in March. It recorded a total unit sales of 18,059 units for the month. It also recorded a 9 percent YoY growth, as it sold 16,458 units in March 2024.

The Maruti Suzuki Swift achieved the second spot by registering sales of 17,746 units, followed by Tata Punch, unit sales of 17,714 And Maruti Suzuki WagonR, 17,175 unit sales. The Swift registered 12.83 percent YoY growth, the Tata Punch made a marginal YoY growth of just 0.95 per cent followed by WagonR, registering 4.93 percent YoY growth.

Maruti Suzuki's Ertiga and Brezza grabbed the fifth and sixth spot in the March sales chart. The Ertiga recorded 16,804 unit sales and the Brezza 16,546 units in the month, accounting for 12.87 percent and 13.22 percent YoY growth, respectively.

Nexon managed to secure the seventh spot in the list with a unit sales of 16,366, in March, registering a 16.42 percent YoY growth. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Mahindra Scorpio, and the Maruti Suzuki Fronx took eighth, ninth, and tenth positions with unit sales of 15,460, 13,913, and 13,669, respectively. Out of all the cars featured in the top-selling list, only the Dzire and Scorpio witnessed a YoY decline of 2.73 percent and 8.17 percent, respectively. Fronx registered a YoY growth of 6.67 percent.
