Hyundai Motor India celebrates a sales milestone for its connected cars, as the carmaker has retailed over 6.75 lakh connected vehicles since 2019.

Hyundai Motor India Limited has announced its achievement of selling more than 6.75 lakh connected cars between 2019-2024. Hyundai also confirmed that it launched its advanced connectivity feature in 2019. The sales of Hyundai-connected cars have registered a rise from 4.7% in 2019 to 25.7% in 2024. The demand for the new-age connected car has risen, as it amplifies the convenience of remote diagnostics and other vitals.

On the occasion Mr. Jae Wan Ryu, Function Head, Corporate Planning, HMIL said- "Hyundai Motor India Limited was the first OEM to introduce embedded connected car technology in India called Bluelink. HMIL is committed to India and every benchmark technology we introduce is aimed at improving the ownership experience of our customers. Bluelink has significantly uplifted user and ownership experience, transforming cars into lifestyle products, garnering appreciation of customers from across the country."

He added, "In 2025, Hyundai further introduced the In-car Payment platform, which is an evolutionary technology that transforms the vehicle into a seamless payment platform, enhancing convenience and efficiency for customers. Today, connected cars drive a significant part of Hyundai's overall sales in India, surpassing half a million sales milestone. With the ever-increasing number of tech savvy, convenience seeking, and young car buyers, I am confident that the demand for connected car tech will rise rapidly in the coming years."

Hyundai Bluelink Enables Customers To Access Car Features And Notifications

Hyundai uses Bluelink, which provides a seamless transfer of information from the car to the customer via a mobile application. The Bluelink system offers Hyundai customers access to features like- in-car payment platforms, making it easier to pay bills to the EV charging stations. Apart from this, the Hyundai Bluelink also helps access real-time vehicle tracking, locating nearby Hyundai service stations, and remote climate control.

The Hyundai Bluelink also enables a few safety features, such as auto collision notification, roadside assistance, emergency contact notifications, high-speed alerts, geo-fencing, valet alerts, stolen vehicle notifications, and more.

Hyundai is currently offering the Bluelink features across its long and extensive line-up -  i20 N Line, Exter, Venue, Creta, Alcazar, Creta Electric, Tucson, Ioniq 5, and Verna.
