Kia, the South Korean car manufacturer, has now revealed its K4 hatchback. The K4 sedan is already being sold as a sedan in the international market. However, the K4 hatchback has been revealed at the New York International Auto Show 2025 and is expected to be launched soon. Here are the details that you must check out about the Volkswagen Golf rival.

Kia K4 Hatchback; Engine, Powertrain
The Kia K4 will get two engine options to choose from- a 2.0-litre NA petrol engine and a 1.6-litre turbo engine, that can churn out a peak power output of 144 bhp and 187 bhp, respectively. The naturally aspirated engine will be coupled with Kia's Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), whereas the turbo petrol unit will work in conjunction with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The exact interior specs and features can not be confirmed yet. However, Kia has revealed a few interior details and it will integrate two 12.3-inch displays for infotainment and driver display , along with a 5-inch HVAC display, a Harman Kardon sound system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, heated and ventilated front seats, a sunroof and more. The Kia K4 will also get a 360-degree camera setup and 29 ADAS features.

The Kia K4 hatchback borrows much of the exterior elements from its sedan iteration, like vertically placed LED headlights, T-shaped DRLs, a slim signature Tiger Nose grille and more. The only major change can be seen in the dimensions of the K4 hatchback. It is 279 mm shorter than the 4,710 mm K4 sedan, measuring 4,431 mm in length. Apart from this Kia also claims that the K4 hatchback will get a 628-liter boot space, which is 52 percent more than the K4 sedan. Also, the boot space can be extended further to 1,679 liters by folding the second-row seats.
