KTM RC 390 Spied Testing, Launch Likely In 2025

KTM RC 390 has been recently spied testing in India and the bike is expected to launch in 2025. The KTM RC 390 gets a few revisions when compared to the outgoing version in terms of the design. Once it transcends into the production, the bike will also replace the older version, with a sportier and new 390 platform of KTM.

KTM RC 390: Engine, Powertrain

There has been no declaration of the engine specifications by KTM yet. Therefore, the new KTM RC 390 will have the same 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid cooled engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox with bi-directional quick shifter. The engine is capable of delivering a peak power of 44.3 hp and a peak torque of 40 Nm.

The spy shots of the new KTM RC 390 suggest that the company is going back to the signature design and that the new RC 390 is more like the first-gen KTM bike. The present version of the RC 390 has twin projectors but the spy shots reveal that the new RC 390 will have mono projectors. The ORVM is placed in-line with the headlamp on either side. The new KTM RC 390 has low-set clip-on handlebars and rear footpegs to support the pillion. The suspension duty will be performed by USD forks, expected to be adjustable and mono-shock at the rear. Also, the exhaust is now an underbelly setup.

The exact and detailed feature list will be known days closer to the launch. However, as per the spy shots, the new KTM RC 390 will get a 5-inch TFT screen offering advanced connectivity features, navigation, and music control.

The KTM RC 390 is expected to be launched towards the end of 2025 at an estimated price tag of Rs 3.5 lakh.
