Mahindra launched its BE 6 last month and has received heartfelt reactions from car lovers. During the launch Mahindra also showcased the enormous power of its BE 6 through drift exercise. The video went viral and left viewers in shock to see an electric vehicle drift like an ICE powered car. However, BE 6 is again in the news as video of its first accident has surfaced online.

First Accident Of Mahindra BE 6

Nikhil Rana, an Indian Youtuber who covers information and content related to the automotive industry, has shared a video on his YouTube channel that shows the after-collision effect of the all-new Mahindra BE 6 and Datsun Go.

The reason for the mishap is unknown, but as per speculations there could be two situations responsible for the accident- improper braking measures by the BE 6 driver, or an unattended obstacle in front of BE 6, which made the driver panic brake and led to the collision.

Fortunately, no one was hurt in the accident, but Datsun faced pocket-cutting damages to its front fascia. As seen in the video, it seems the Datsun hit BE 6 at the rear due to sudden braking or lack of attention by the Datsun driver. And now Datsun needs a bumper replacement and a new pair of headlights. This resulted in significant damage to the Datsun car, however, the Mahindra BE 6 showed relatively lesser signs of damage.

Mahindra BE 6 Safety Rating

On social media, Mahindra BE 6 was appreciated after the results of its Bharat NCAP crash test came out. The car scored 45/49 in child occupant protection and 31.97/32 in adult occupant protection. Mahindra BE 6 has received a 5-star rating from Bharat NCAP.
